Where can I find a list or database of generic keywords that are used for search and PPC?

For research, we need an updated list of keywords used by people for search and for online marketing (and pay-per-click). I’m sure this list is big, so it’s probably a database; and if possible, it should also include additional information, like ranking or popularity. Thanks!

check out Google Adwords keyword tool. You can put in any keyword or URL and get a list of good keywords to add to your PPC campaign.

How do I change the PPC shortcuts on the taksbar?

I have an XV6700 with WM5. By default it has the start button at the top so I can get to my programs, but at the bottom of my screen there’s another tab with a shortcut to my calendar and contacts. I have downloaded shortcut software to change it but there are no settings to change these two programs to something else. I don’t use the calendar or even the contacts. Can these programs be changed to IE or Media Player for example.
I want to change the programs on my command bar at the bottom of the screen. Right now I have a PPC6700 with WM5. The two programs on the Today screen I can get to from this bar are Calendar and Contacts. Can these programs be changed with another app? Or can this bar be hidden?

without installing new software you can delete items in the "new menu."

go to start —> settings —> menus —> new menu

uncheck all the items you do not like to see there. i do not know about adding new ones that are not specified by the OS. i suppose you will need software for that.

if you’d like to make your ie or media player more accessible, why don’t you just put them in your start menu’s main menu?

go to start —> settings —> menus —> start menu

you can check the 9 programs you use most often.

you can also put items on your desktop, the way you do with your real pc. i use this program called "Skat desktop" ( http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=16242 ). it has other nifty features as well. its desktop manager is awesome!

What is the best strategy to optimize PPC performance?

Assume I have 50,000 keywords in a campaign. With 5000 head keywords and the remaining the "Long tail".

Should I adjust bids at the keyword level?

Or should I adjust bids at the ad group level?

Which strategy would lead to better ROI?

This seems to be a little extreme if you are marketing one specific type of page or site.

Generally, google recommends to have 30-40 keywords for each campaign.

Part of how PPC works is the bidding process. This factors your "Available daily budget" along with the "Average Cost Per Click" for a specific term.

If your budget is $10 per day, and you have 5000 active keywords, you are REALLY spreading yourself thin.

Google gives more weight to people with more available daily budget, you get more impressions for your most important keywords.

If you are bidding $1 for a specific keywords, with a $10 per day budget Google is only going to give you at most $10 worth of exposure at any given time..

Get rid of the excess keywords, increase your bidding amount on your top 20-30 keywords and see the results!

Can someone who is not licensed in a particular state call himself a CPA?

The person I am referring to majored in Economics in college and took 24 credit hours in Accounting from a college where he didn’t receive a degree. Has not been licensed as a CPA in any state.

No, and you can report that person to the state CPA Board.

An accountant does NOT equal a CPA.
An accountant does NOT equal a tax specialist
An EA IS a tax specialist, but not necessarily a CPA.

How difficult are actual BEC questions on the CPA exam, in comparison with those in the Wiley books?

I’ve been using the Wiley CPA Exam Review Book to study for BEC, and was wondering how closely the difficulty of these questions reflect those that actually appear on the exam. Also, are the question wording and length vastly different from that of Wiley?

CPA exam is not a hard one if you thorough with Wiley

What PPC or PPA strategy would you like to see in search engines?

I’m interested to know what Google/Yahoo and other advertising programs don’t offer that they should. PPC is supporting fraudulent activity but PPA is difficult to measure, or is it?

Like PPC ads, PPA ads will likely be ranked by profitability to Google. … If you are a smaller advertiser. I just wanted to drop you a note and tell you that Google Money Pro book is the – BEST – information I have ever read on setting up an PPC or PPA strategy ! I have bough a ton of crap about internet marketing with Google and your information is by far the most concise, realistic, and best explanation on using Google I have every seen!

Does a forensic accountant need to take the cpa exam?

I’m a freshman in college. I already have 4 credits in accounting. If im not mistaken I need 11 more. After graduating, will I have to take the CPA exam to become a forensic accountant? Either for the government( IRS FIB etc) or working in an accounting firm. What requirements do I have to meet to become one?

Passing the CPA exam will make it MUCH easier to get into that field, but not a mandatory requirement. You need 24 credits in accounting, not 15 for a CPA license.
